CRJ’s First Collegiate Athlete!

Within the last two weeks, senior George R. has: received a 5-thousand dollar surprise donation from his Work-Study employer Eagle Rock Energy, received almost an equal amount in gifts from Eagle Rock co-workers, and been interviewed by a local TV station.   George is Cristo Rey Jesuit’s first collegiate athlete after signing on with a soccer scholarship to Austin’s Concordia University.  George‘s recent signing day was a very special day for the entire school.

Days later, when he received the gifts from Eagle Rock Energy, he was surround by family, top executives, and the co-workers who’ve made him feel so welcome the four years he’s worked at the company.

Not only is George‘s history making status of note, so is the partnership of Eagle Rock Energy.  Like many of our Corporate Work-Study partners, the team there goes well beyond employing student workers.
George adds, ” They have forever changed my life.”
