College Readiness Push

The 2016-2017 school year is already off to an amazing start for the Cristo Rey Jesuit College Readiness team.

Not only is the team poised to have its fifth year of 100% college acceptance, the push to have a greater profile around campus began on the first day of school.

“We have many initiatives in the works to remind students about getting to and through college.  We want them to always have that goal in mind,” said Joseph Miller, Dean of College Readiness.

On the first day of school, students were met with a slide show featuring faculty and staff and their respective degrees.

The staff has also greatly increased the number college visits on campus.  In addition to the new initiatives, efforts already in place such as alumni visits will continue.
