Homecoming Happiness

Not even Hurricane Harvey could keep the spirits down of the 350 students and their friends – a record number of attendees — who danced the night away at our Homecoming Dance, titled “Forever Young.” At one point, students formed a line and danced around the transformed gym while a DJ played current tunes. Thanks to much support from our Parents and Guardians Association (PGA), student council and NHS members, faculty and staff, and several donors, students could ham it up in the photo booth or indulge in the many treats.

The day before the Homecoming Dance, students, and faculty and staff members played around at our tailgate party before our flag football game (with a record number of attendees). Games were set up everywhere, including a cake walk, giant Jenga, balloon pop, video games, and there was face painting, food, and free snow cones.
