College Graduate Comes Home to CRJ to Enlighten Students

Cristo Rey Jesuit changed Victoria Perez’s life. A member of our first graduating class – the Class of 2013 — Perez is now one of our first college graduates. She recently returned to CRJ to enlightened our students about her path to success after receiving her BBA with honors from Texas Woman’s University in Denton. Perez, who is planning to pursue a law degree, told the students, “In addition to all of the valuable lessons, Cristo Rey Jesuit helped me prepare for life after high school. For example, the work-study program taught me more about the working world and how to build my interpersonal skills. I’m so thankful for my teachers and all of the support I received. Call on those who support you. Do not give up, and trust that God has a plan for you.”

While reminiscing about her memorable years at Cristo Rey Jesuit. Perez stopped by the table in the Cafe where she once sat with her volunteer tutor Mary May (pictured), who she has remained lifelong friends with.
