Starting on Tuesday, Sept 5 Cristo Rey Jesuit students were welcomed back to school and are getting back into their routines. Our community is in the process of rebounding from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey after hundreds of staff and faculty members, students, parents, alumni, and volunteers mobilized to help clean out homes, find alternate housing, collect, organize and distribute food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and clothing. Through generous donations, we are able to support our families impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Additionally, as Houstonians deal with the impact of Hurricane Harvey on our local economy, Cristo Rey Jesuit will face new challenges associated with funding student scholarships, school programs, and our Corporate Work-Study Program.
