CLUBS

Woods Club

Strives to develop the confidence, perseverance, and adaptability of its members through outdoor adventures that include camping, hiking, and environmental service projects.

Art Club

Art Club meets every other week to embark upon creative adventures of epic proportions. Projects often revolve around school events and our deepest creative desires.

Book Club

Members choose one book per month to read and discuss during club meetings and work to promote literacy in the school and community.

Lyrical Lyons

Vocal Group that performs at the talent show, Christmas Caroling, and other informal events.

Hearts on Fire

This club’s purpose is to make one’s appreciation of the love of God come alive so that one’s heart is on fire. This is done through music, videos and short presentations during lunch periods.

Service Club

A group of students dedicated to helping out their community through volunteer experiences and various donation drives.

Newspaper

The Newspaper will be a digital, online publication. The goal of the paper is to give students experience in digital publishing while learning to work cooperatively towards a deadline.

Garden Club

Learning the practical skills involved in growing our own food.

Ambassadors

Students have the opportunity to represent Cristo Rey Jesuit by helping and guiding guests during school sponsored activities.

Chess Club

Students may play friendly games, learn how to play Chess, or work on Chess
problems.

NHS

National Honor Society students are selected based on scholarship, leadership, character, and service. They engage in service projects during the year and are challenged to be leaders in and out of school.

CAMPUS MINISTRY

The goal of the campus ministry program is to help all members of the Cristo Rey Jesuit community to develop and deepen their personal relationship with Christ, to provide opportunities for growth in their faith nd spiritual development, and to continually offer praise and worship, giving thanks to God in all things. We do this through: annual grade level retreats, faculty retreat, monthly school-wide liturgies, morning prayer, Lenten book club, reconciliation services and our school-wide Building the Kingdom community service day.

School Masses
Cristo Rey Jesuit offers daily mass in our chapel, and has all-school mass at least once per month, and on holy days of obligation. In September, we hold our Mass of the Holy Spirit, a Jesuit tradition to kick off the year.
